Great opportunity: we are hiring a glazier in Scott County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames. You should have: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
