The role involves recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
