Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. You will work at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
