Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Parmer County, Texas. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Your main tasks: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
