Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day to day you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; season and marinate meat on request; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone.
