Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Douglas County, Nevada. On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Six days a week, one day off. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
