Machine setter-operator — City of Hopewell

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in City of Hopewell, Virginia. The job is at an injection moulding unit. Day-to-day duties: • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches Ideal candidate: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
