Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Clark County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On the job you will handle: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
