Great opportunity: foundry worker (South Dakota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Jackson County, South Dakota. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
