Great opportunity: heavy equipment operator (Tennessee)

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Monroe County, Tennessee. You will be based at a road-building project. You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence The role involves: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket 2+ years on the tools preferred.
