Join our team: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Obio/Akpor, Rivers State. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork On a typical shift you will strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). 1+ years on the tools preferred.
