CO2 welder — Geary County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Geary County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
