Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Black Hawk County, Iowa. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Your main tasks: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Check for underground cables and services before digging Part-time with flexible hours.
