Now hiring: we are hiring a canteen cook in Nowata County, Oklahoma. On a typical shift you will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; prepare the mise en place before each service; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
