Hydraulic crane operator wanted in Borough of Rochdale

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Borough of Rochdale, England. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On the job you will handle: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans £2,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
