Conventional mill operator • Malam Maduri, Jigawa State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Malam Maduri, Jigawa State. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
