Vacancy available: elevator service technician (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Liverpool, England. On a typical shift you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; run load and overload tests with test weights; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £2,100 per month plus benefits.
