Tig welder • Mbo, Akwa Ibom State

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Mbo, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
