GTAW welder wanted in De Baca County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in De Baca County, New Mexico. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
