GTAW welder wanted in Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Jackson County, Kentucky. The job is on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
