Elevator repair technician wanted in Pope County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Pope County, Illinois. You will be based in a residential tower block. On a typical shift you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
