Great opportunity: canteen cook (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a canteen cook in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Rotating shifts.
