Urgent requirement: steam press operator (Louisiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a steam press operator in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a busy laundry. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
