Metal caster — Nsit Atai

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State. You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 5+ years on the tools preferred. ₦700 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
