Stitching operator wanted in City of Virginia Beach

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Rotating shifts.
