Immediate opening: scaffolding labourer (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Hancock County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Able to read basic scaffold drawings Day-to-day duties: • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Full-time, day shift.
