Immediate opening: banksman (North Dakota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in McLean County, North Dakota. Day to day you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
