Formwork carpenter • Grundy County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Grundy County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to read formwork and structural drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
