Steel fixing chargehand — Candler County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Candler County, Georgia. Day to day you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
