Your main tasks: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Full-time with occasional weekends.
