Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in Cherokee County, North Carolina. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. You should have: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens The role involves weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
