Vertical transportation technician wanted in Washtenaw County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Washtenaw County, Michigan. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. On a typical shift you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
