We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Fulton County, Arkansas. Day-to-day duties: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Meals and transport allowance provided.
