Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Wapello County, Iowa. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Part-time with flexible hours.
