Now hiring: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Pierce County, Washington. What we are looking for: • Willing to travel between sites • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Working-at-height certificate an advantage The role involves: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors Six days a week, one day off.
