Bar bender and fixer wanted in Giles County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Giles County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 4+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
