Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Carlton County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
