Now hiring: we are hiring a short order cook in Barnwell County, South Carolina. You will work in a hotel kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Day to day you will label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
