Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges You will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
