We are recruiting: MIG welder (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Sutton County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Full-time, day shift. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
