Head baker wanted in Manchester

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Manchester, England. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks On a typical shift you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer £2,450 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
