Refrigeration field service technician — Tama County

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Tama County, Iowa. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. The role involves install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter. Requirements: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
