Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Logan County, Arkansas. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight You will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp.
