Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
