Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Belmont County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Belmont County, Ohio. You will work at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On the job you will handle: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
