Abattoir worker wanted in West Lothian

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in West Lothian, Scotland. The role involves dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer £6,000 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
