What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Rotating shifts.
