Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Walworth County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work You will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
