Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Logo

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Logo, Benue State. On a typical shift you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. Requirements: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 6+ years on the tools preferred.
