Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sausage maker in Jerauld County, South Dakota. You will work in a supermarket meat department. On the job you will handle: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Season and marinate meat on request • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
